Hi, I'm Kayla, the creator of Baking A Difference! I have always been inspired to bake, but my insatiable sweet tooth is what got me hooked on baking in the first place. I have a desire to combine my artistic vision with the things I put on other's plates to bring smiles to people's faces. My goal here is to help anyone who has an interest in baking, and give them all of the tools and tips I wish I had when I was going through the learning process.

I was born and raised in Texas where I have lived my entire life, but hope to one day move out to the Oregon hill country where my incredible husband had the chance to grow up! I have always been somewhat gifted with creating art, and decided to take that to the next level by creating bakes that make people want to smile and enjoy themselves. My family has been an amazing support team along my journey to become a baker, although I think maybe it's mostly due to the fact that they get a constant supply of free sweets... because who doesn't love a never ending supply of deliciousness! I absolutely love animals, and have two loving dogs that keep my life interesting when I need it ( and when I don't )!
